Our TobyHome model, which has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, kitchen and living throughout interconnecting pods (with the ability to convert to 2 bedrooms) in Quindalup can be rented out through Airbnb (which will give you a good feel for the living spaces and its connection to the outdoors) build cost for this model starts at $145,000 with a full architectural fit out.
Other factors and costs to consider before building a container home would be;
- Design & Consultants fees including Engineer, BAL Consultant, Energy Assessor, Surveyor.
- Site Feasibility study.
- Shire Approvals including Planning Approval, Building Permit and a CDC through a private Building Surveyor.
- Delivery and Site Works, including plumbing, electrical connections and preparation of foundations for the pod/s.
